Playgrounds are oneof the first places we experience shared space with strangers. They are both delightfully appealing and frightening, with so much movement, space and unpredictability.
These images atempt to draw boundaries around the activity associated with a single item of play equipment, and to retain distincive features to recognize the play. Sometimes the boundaries include parents and play partners watching over or participating in the play - pushing a swing, or helping a child onto a spinning platform. The boundaries are fluid, but establish familiar patterns, like rivers changing course in heavy rain.
